Album Notes

"Dani's performance no doubt outshines the others'. Running from side to side on stage and changing her voice, sometimes clean and sometimes extremely rough, Dani stole the show with her feeling and charisma."
Roadie Crew Magazine (http://www.roadiecrew.com) ,reviewing Dani's performance on the concert with Nightwish (July 2002)

"With the charisma, beauty and voice (and aggressive and melodic voice!) from singer Dani Nolden... The band stepped out of the stage even more praised than Nightwish..."
Valhalla magazine (http://www.valhalla.com.br), reviewing the concert with Nightwish (July 2002)

"She's one of a kind! Something that happens from 50 to 50 years, that's way above Seven Music, me or you. Something above our mediocre lives ... I expect the world to surrender! I expect everyone to fall on their knees and worship the Heavy Metal goddess."
Gil Cardoso, head of Seven Music, Universal Music label, current home of Dani Nolden and Shadowside. (2005)

There have been many outstanding and unique singers, true rock n' roll legends. Janis Joplin, Robert Plant, Rob Halford, Bruce Dickinson and many others have written their names in the music hall of fame in a time when talent really mattered. For many years, the Rock and Metal scene suffered with the lack of identify and personality and very few bands and musicians have standed out and surprised the world.

A truly unique and powerful voice, technical and incomparable: there are no better words to describe her. With a very passionate and energetic style together with her charisma and attitude, she wrote, and performed live and in the studio, songs that got thousands of people speechless.

In times where true art doesn't matter, she is here to change it all and bring back the magic to the Heavy Metal music. No matter where you are and where you come from, she's gonna rock your world.
Dani Nolden is here to stay.

And so are Shadowside. Their debut album Theatre of Shadows shows a very competent, strong act, with very skilled musicians and high level songwriting. Highly acclaimed by the media and fans, they got to show their amazing live presence touring with bands such as Nightwish and Helloween, everytime leaving the stage praised, sometimes even more than the main act.
They are currently booking the Dancing in the Shadows world tour, be sure not to miss them when they come your way!

Great heavy metal with a female singer. The band DONT try to be Nightwish clones. They have their own sound and are good at it.

Dani has more TESTOSTERONE than most male metal vocalists
author: Heavy Metal Warrior
This CD showcases Dani's singing and it is superb for a sophomore effort. She is certainly a rising star in the metal scene and (I hope) here to stay. At any rate, I highly recommend buying this CD. Can't wait to see her live. Only negative is the intentional off-key wavering and weird English pronounciation (kinda cute for a ESL Brazilian) you hear in Vampire Hunter, (IMHO the worst song on CD). Every other track, besides the above, is quite simply muito bon ('very good' in Portuguese)!
