I didn't think I'd be "into" this kind of music until I heard Shaina. Everyone should have her CDs in their "feel good" arsenal. (Instead of drugs!) I think of this material as a tool. Life beats us up sometimes, making us feel small, unappreciated, sometimes even like we're not intrinsically beautiful, or even like we're useless. Those times are especially when we need this tool, and this applies to all of us. In addition, if you are recovering from any kind of psychological abuse, whether it be a highly traditional/conservative religious upbringing, or an abusive relationship-- whatever it may be-- you will absolutely benefit, in a big way, from the material on Shaina's CDs. Excellent, I loved especially the Brother Warrior song, the first one! Indeed the title lives up to what is in the music and words, Bread for the Journey for all eternity! Peter

This CD has a lovely range of moods, from light-hearted to deep, enveloping comfort. I use music in my training and coaching programs, and these songs convey such positive and potent themes. I love Shaina's version of "On a Clear Day" -- I never knew there was such a spiritual tone to that song. It is a pure pleasure to find music that uses such clear language and is also finely produced.
