With a voice full of depth and complex emotions, and a style best described as “Adult Contemporary Eclectic”, singer/songwriter Shakeh spins musical tales that take the listener on a unique journey. Her candid poetic lyrics woven over tribal beats (Blue Ivory), playful, Jazzy saxophone melodies (Wherever The Loving Take Us) and sterling Rock/Blues guitar and piano textures (Keep Talkin’ Bout Me) melt together into a tantalizing seductive experience. Her newest CD, “Keep Talkin’ Bout Me” is just out and reveals Shakeh in her best incarnation ever.
“Keep Talkin’ Bout Me” is her fourth independent release. Shakeh has received extensive college and independent radio play all over the world with her previous releases, “Shakeh” and “Running”
Shakeh has toured extensively up and down the west coast from San Diego to Seattle playing colleges, festivals, clubs, coffeehouses and over 40 Borders Books and Music stores. She resides in Los Angeles and Arlington, Washington.
As a live performer, she is energetic and engaging given to making up songs on the spot for children of all ages. With her wireless system she can be very interactive with a crowd and performs as a single, duo, trio, or with a full band.

This cd is a nice relaxing one! If you like kind of
blues-ie, kind of a little country twang in a few, nice guitar and a beautiful voice....you'll LOVE this cd!!

I'm Gonna Keep Talkin' Bout Her!

Shakeh's "Keep Talkin' Bout Me" is one ooooh ahhhhh listen. This is an artist who is extremely skilled in displaying a highly coveted bottom line - her love for music and talent in making it, all clearly evidenced by just one listen (but of course you'll want more) to this, her most recent effort. Her (what I would refer to as) pop songs like "Beautiful Again","Coffee For One" and "I'm Gonna Miss You" would make the Pop Daddy Burt Bacharach smile bigtime, and missed artist Carly Simon smile wistfully with the acknowledgement that there are singer/songwriters today who, like herself, can not only tell a heartbreakingly beautiful tale but sing it with the kind of gorgeous tones envied by many an artist today. See, Shakeh can really sing. This record showcases Shakeh's ease accessing a number of different genres/influences. "Brazos De Amor" might make one think Spanish was her first language - beautiful... The title track "Keep Talkin' Bout Me" ROCKS, plain and simple. What's most impressive is that this artist manages to showcase these different genres and still sound like "Shakeh" - the original she truly is. I highly recommend this artist and her fabulous new release "Keep Talkin' Bout Me".
