Album Notes

This is the long anticipated SHAKKA CD that has generated international requests for this artist's music. Tupac fans and Shakka fans alike tend to speak with one voice when they voice their approval for SHAKKA'S music; a sound unusually and eerily reminiscent of Tupacs legendary signature sound. As on all 10 of SHAKKA'S other albums he delivers on just about every song and in doing so reminds the doubters amongst us that that the nature of the person behind this music may be more 'REAL" than they themselves may think it to be. There is a raw energy in his sound that hasn't been captured in Rap/Hip-Hop music for quit some time (for what many consider obvious reasons). Without belaboring the point....SHAKKA'S fans around the globe are in for a special treat (especially those of his Japan following, a fan base that has been extremely receptive to his music over the years......and ironically......though surely pleasant for SHAKKA......EUROPE and the US seem to be headed toward the same footing). Who says hard work and talent doesn't pay off? They must not be watching the rising star of this upstart from Harlem. let's face it folks...the man has celebrities as fans......that's when you know you're saying something. Music for those die hard fans......A new artist with a vintage sound. A small label with a million dollar sound.........stranger things have happen........ and have succeeded. So the wait is over; here it is.........SHAKKA: from HARLEM to JAPAN !!!
