The Shambles are a 3-piece original Rock’n Roll band known for their high energy and skilled musicianship. Their hook-filled lyrics, catchy riffs and soaring guitar solos are a welcome relief to those tired of the screaming vocals and buzz saw metal that typifies today’s local music scene. In addition to the quality originals, The Shambles also spend a good portion of their live set paying homage to their influences with nearly two dozen’s worth of cover songs from the likes of Ted Nugent, The Who, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bad Company, REO Speedwagon and many others.
2005 saw the release of the self-titled Shambles CD featuring audience favorites “Whiskey Lipstick”, “Sister Voodoo” and “Hardway”. In fact, it was the song “Hardway” that first got the Shambles on air, as Philadelphia's 94.1FM WYSP was began playing it in November 2005.
