Shana is a singer-songwriter who has grown up in Michigan. Her first CD has just been released in March, 2007.
Shana’s lyrical themes are uncommon, yet they touch thoughts that are familiar to all of us. She sings about the frustration of small talk (Communication), and dealing with the unknown (If the World Will End Today). She expresses struggles as simple as getting through the day (Pick Yourself Up), and as complex as understanding the death of a little girl (Hannah’s Song).
On her sixteenth birthday, she wrote Same as Yesterday which captures the mystery of being present in the moment while being the same person you were years ago. Her faith and hopeful outlook are apparent in Grass Will Wither, and Why You Love Me.
Shana is seventeen now, and only God knows where this will lead, but the people who have heard her music have enjoyed the journey almost as much as she has.

Shana's vocals remind me of Patty Griffin's because she has a deeper and more unique sound than most artists. This album gives the listener a variety of heartfelt songs and lyrics. You will not regret purchasing this cd, it is excellent!
