Album Notes

Shan started playing the guitar at the age of 6. He also played the trumpet, drums, and piano for many years growing up. He studied music at Western Washington University including classical theory while playing in bands in Bellingham. He has performed in clubs and other venues in the Puget Sound area for numerous years with a very energetic and driving sound including a show with "Hue Cenic"(bass player from Santana). He currently teaches guitar, bass and music theory ranging from styles of classical to classic rock and has taught at the Washington Academy of Performing Arts, Mills Music, and Kennelly Keys. Shan had also written and recorded a number of Folk Rock and Country Rock guitar parts for the "Guy Madison Band" which have been played on many US Radio Stations reaching the top 10 Billboard charts.
