ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"The EP" is the follow-up release to the 2006 debut of Shane Prather entitled "i'm All In." This album follows in the Shane's tradition of rocking country. The first track is a honky tonkin' salute to the hard-working men and women in the oil field industry entitled "oilfield trash." Oilfield Trash is, of course, slang for an old blue-collar reference. The second track is a sarcastic ballad, "It Don't Mean A Thing." Contrary to the song title everything in the song really means a lot to a lot of people. However, "like these tears in my eyes, it don't mean a thing." Track 3 shakes off the winter blues with a countrified bouncy tune entitled "It's Summertime." The last track is a lonesome tribute to spending much time on the road filled with cool guitar riffs and heart felt lyrics.
