Shane is the next real deal in country music!
author: ElizCountryFan
5 Gear Grinding, Momentum Building STARS!!! Shane Wyatt is the real deal and the best new country artist to hit the scene in a long time... We’ve been waiting for someone to bring it, and he delivered. Starting with Waiting For Forever, the album starts with a SOLID tune. A love song that’s gets you tapping to the addictive beat. The title track The Last Cowboy is a haunting tail of Shane’s grandfather passing the torch to keep the cowboy way of life alive. The music will send chills through your spine. There are a few songs like Princess and Whole Lotta Love that bring Alan Jackson to mind and belong in every honky-tonk juke box. The love songs on the album are heartfelt and you can hear the emotion. Fly Away is the song I turn up all the way, close my eyes and just enjoy it. From start to finish the song takes you to another place and melodically my favorite on the album. She Could Do Better has a twist that makes any woman, who is in a relationship she should have left, believe there is still love out there, but the fiddle solo at the end of the tune is breathtaking – by far one of the best I’ve heard. The album ends with my favorite tune The Big Bad Dog. It’s the kind of song you crank to 10 in your vehicle and will put you in danger of a speeding ticket it’s so good. The Big Bad Dog is a trucker anthem that fits right in there with Six Days. “She’s hell on wheels and a real road hog, get outta the way of the big, bad dog.” I look forward to watching where Shane Wyatt goes. He’s going to be here for a while and look forward to what he will release in the coming year. Get it, buy it and love it… you’ll be happy you did.
