While she has over 200 original Christian songs in her song catalog, sings, and plays piano and mandolin, the quality that draws most people to Shannon is her passion for sharing her love of Jesus Christ through her music & speaking ministry, Lift Me Up Ministries.

With a vocal style often likened to Sarah McLachlan, Tori Amos or Jewel, Shannon's musical influences, while drawing from as far afield as jazz, bluegrass and classical, meld into a blend of contemporary Christian pop with upbeat lyrics and a penchant for tackling life's daily issues with both a sense of humor and the eye of compassion. With her new 12 song all-original contemporary Christian pop CD, Modern Day Eve, to be released in summer 2002, Shannon's songwriting, speaking and performance ministry goal continues to be to build bonds of community by revealing that we are not alone in this world - we have God; we have each other.
