Album Notes

Shannon Ferry has been described as one of the most promising singer-songwriters to come out of the San Francisco music scene in the past few years. Now gaining an ever-increasing local following in the Bay Area, Shannon previously graced the stages of some of the country\'s biggest venues: CBGB in New York, the Cubby Bear in Chicago, Great American Music Hall in San Francisco, and many, many more.

Shannon has just released her fourth independent album, entitled Mend My Ways! Produced by Chris Daddio (Stroke 9, the Fingers, Noelle Hampton), it is her most distinguished work-to-date. The album includes a broad offering of musical tastes (ranging from rock to classic country to sounds of the 50\'s) and is sure to draw attention to this passionate and unyielding regional performer.

Previous albums have inspired media comparison to Chrissie Hynde, Janis Joplin and most recently, Boston-scene sensation Patty Griffin. The latter comparison stems from Shannon\'s ability to \"write gut-check songs and deliver them with her own, powerfully unique voice\", says an impassioned Chris Daddio. When on stage, she is an open book. Her confessional writing and fervent stage presence deem her one to watch in the near future.
