Linda Sharar kicks around the Boston music scene, and kicked around the New York City scene before that. Not only because she's a life-long soccer player, but also because she can write a jammin' groove on the guitar that matches up superbly with her thoughtful lyrics. Her CD "Participate" is produced by Tom Dube, one of Boston's hidden secrets in the world of sound engineering and production. Mr. Dube has brought out the obvious pop essence of Linda's tunes, while not disturbing the acoustic folk-rock flavor of her singing and songwriting. Take a listen and see if you agree.
