Biography
 
In a world that is rekindling it's fascination with the mythic and magical, Sharon Knight feels right at home. The San Francisco-based Celtic songstress brings her own brand of enchantment to the world with her collection of original and traditional songs. Sharon has long been inspired by the fierce and passionate spirit of the Celts, and this is everywhere reflected in her music.  Her latest release, Song of the Sea, features lyrical tales of muses and sirens, magical spells, pirates, phoenixes and otherworldly heroes. Her mythic themes, lush instrumentation, and shimmering vibrato are sure to resonate with fans of Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter, and fans of Stevie Nicks and Loreena McKennitt will find another musical kinship in Ms. Knight as well.  Song of the Sea evokes the indomitable spirit of the Celts and reminds us that we can all see the world through the eyes of enchantment.
