The Delta City of Brotherly Love is where she is from. Growing up in the small town of Rosedale, Mississippi, Sharon always found herself with pen and paper in hand and ready to write. This poet, songwriter, and singer developed a love for writing at a very early age. "I've always enjoyed writing but as my relationship with the Lord changed, so did my writing." "I now find more of an urgency to write," Sharon says.
Before relocating to Georgia, Sharon worked fervently in the house of God. There at The Bible Way Assembly Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, she often read her poetry on special occasions. She was also a member of the choir, youth Sunday school teacher, youth choir director, and served as the narrator for the church broadcast.
Following the leading of the Holy Spirit, Sharon's steps were ordered to The Atlanta Metro Way of the Cross Church in Stone Mountain, Georgia where Elder Eric L. Cannady is the pastor. She is a member of the praise team, a member of the Gethsemane prayer group, and she is also on the hospitality committee. In December of 2005, Sharon won the Voices of Stone Mountain contest and this is where the inspiration for her debut album "Secret Sacrifice" was birthed. Her winning poem was "His Word, His World, His Will, His Way."
"Secret Sacrifice" is a collection of poems written by Sharon along her life's journey. These poems are accompanied by beautiful music that will most definitely put you in the mood for worship. If you are desiring to go higher and deeper in God, then this new genre of poetic worship will take you there!
Her fans say that she has the sound of a young Maya Angelou and others say that she has a hint of Cicely Tyson in her. She has been described as having the fervency and the anointing of Prophetess Juanita Bynum also.
Sharon has performed in a variety of venues from conferences, to churches, and even television. She has also performed with award winning contemporay Christian artist Christopher Lewis from Frontline Studios in Snellville, Georgia. The music for this CD was recorded at Frontline Studios.

"Tear, tear, tear, after tear!" I have the pleasure of knowing this artist before she became known. At that particular, she was always an inspiration to me from the words God has given her. Though we are miles apart, I could always here the words of God through the grace of Sharon Liner. - Makeba
