Shawn Christopher's musical history can be traced back to 1982 when she recorded "It's Too Late" for the now defuct label Lark Records.
The track was an R&B ballad which earned regional success thus paving the way for the more dance oriented "Say it again".
Both songs were recorded at the famed Muscle Shoals studio in Alabama.
Shawn describes this experience as invaluable.
Christopher landed a spot in Chaka Khan's live band as a backup singer from 82-85.
Since then Shawn has worked with Artist such as Nick Tremulis, Ministry, Sonia dada, Kim Mazelle, and has had success with her own solo career.
In 1991 Arista records released the single from Shawn's first solo album entitled "Another Sleepless night". To be followed up with the 2nd single "Don't lose the magic". Both reached #1 on Billboard and #17 on BET video music countdown.
With many other releases under her belt, she continues to create music that will make you dance and stir your curiosity.
In 1995, Shawn joined her current ministry.
She says, "Giving my life to Christ and being able to grow spiritually has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life."
"Drink from the Fountain", comprised of R&B Soul and non-traditional gospel music Features such soul stirring ballads as "Blessed Assurance and Teach me oh Lord".

Spiritual and you can dance to it.
author: Ken Lawrence
I actually found this CD after doing a word search for Lil Louis and French Kiss, and Shawn's name came up. I had posted a review of this CD here before but it seems to have been taken down. So in a nutshell, a good positive message, a lovely voice, a spiritual soulful heart touching CD, and Oh Yeah, you can dance to it. Ken loves this and you will too.
