A decendant of the Black Foot Indian Tribe, Shawn-Tees (her actual birth given name meaning “Unique Beauty”) was singing at 5 years old when her parents would take the family to jam sessions and karaoke. At 14 she told her Mother she wanted to be a professional singer and she has stayed on that course ever since. She volunteers her time singing for The city of Hope and numerous other charity events. She is most impressive with her performances of our National Anthem at baseball games, the Orange County Speedway, a PGA Tournment and at a nationally televised boxing event. Singers will tell you the difficulty in singing the National Anthem acappella in front of thousands, but Shawn-Tees performs it so well, she is in constant demand to do so. Shawn-Tees has opened shows for Big and Rich, Blue County, and Sugarland. She recently performed her fi rst show to a sold out audience at The House Of Blues. She is currently writing and recording the fi rst of her original songs with writer / musician Jeff Scott. With her love of music and her powerful, yet smooth, vocal delivery, along with high energy and good time live performances, Shawn-Tees is fi rmly planted in the roots of American music.

I don't normally like country music, but this one's great.

I've actually met Shawntees and didn't know that she sang. Out of the blue, I happened to see her CD one day. It's not a very common name, so I looked further and sure enough it's her! I don't normally like country music, but this CD is great. She's a beautiful girl as well. Keep up the good work.

Congratulations, very good debut. Due to CD Baby i can still find new artist to add on my collection. As i have a certain weakness for lady singers, this disk fits into my scope. Great music, great performance and good looks, combined to a great debut. Keep onthe good work and i for sure will add the next one also to my collection
