I thought this CD would be perfect for my Uncle who is currently a dialysis patient. What I found when I listened to Full Tilt was how inspiring and empowering it was for ME.
The Doctors OATH blew me away! What a powerful way to let everyone know what medical professionals really "sign on for" when they commit to be a part of our health care. I think we sometimes forget that we have the right to expect excellence and respect when it comes to our biggest asset- our health. I have found myself thinking "Today is the first day of the rest of my life" when I wake up in the morning even on days I haven't listened to the cd. Knowing Full Tilt has already had that type of impact is Amazing! 

I would highly recommend this cd to anyone who desires a positive force throughout the day.

If you only ever buy one inspirational CD, make it this one.

On one level it's a powerful and really helpful guide to living life as fully as possible even with a chronic illness. But at a broader, more spiritual level it's a guide to empowering yourself to triumph over any and all adversity.

There are tons of supposedly inspirational CDs out there, and I'm chronically skeptical. But "Full Tilt" is the real McCoy. Sheila Shaw knows what she's talking about---she suffered catastrophic kidney failure, followed by years of peritoneal dialysis.

It lit a fire in her---gave her a passion for life that's only surpassed by her passion for helping others. So not only did she come back from the edge of darkness and get her life back together. And not only does she really and truly live her live at full tilt (although maybe not everyone would react to kidney failure by taking up motorcycle racing!). But---typical of her positive attitude---she was so upset by the uncomfortable, insecure and often downright injurious medical supports that dialysis patients---even tiny babies---had to endure to hold their catheters in place that she decided to fix the problem for them herself: She invented, developed and perfected her own unique custom-made design to secure catheters in a way that gives patients complete comfort, total freedom of movement, and a whole new sense of security---none of which they never had from the mass-produced alternatives. 

And---again, typical of Sheila's passion and can-do attitude---she didn't stop at creating the ideal product.  She co-founded a company to make it and supply it to those who need it: Patient's' Pride.
