GREATINGS FROM THE CRESCENT CITY!!!!!
I love New Orleans: the people .the food, the unique culture, and of course, the music. My wife (Karen) and I came here in 1978, and like many others, decided to stay. Oh yeah, we tried to leave after that first hot summer, but we came right back. We found out what it means to miss New Orleans. I have been very fortunate to have been able to work with and learn from so many incredible musicians over the last 25 years and wish to thank them all for their inspiration and patience! This cd contains some New Orleans style jazz , country & Chicago style blues, bossa-nova,and a swingin' big band arrangement of Harlem Nocturne, all played on the chromatic harmonica! Guest musicians include John Fohl (currently a member of Dr. John's Band) on acoustic guitar, Kirk Joseph's sousaphone of "Dirty Dozen Brass Band" fame, and a horn section on Harlem Nocturne that includes members of the "New Orleans Nightcrawlers" and the Harry Connick Jr. Big Band.
