Welcome to the magical, mystical fingers of pianist/composer, Sherry K. A resident of South Bend, IN, Sherry performs solo concerts for state fairs, festivals, women's groups, theatres, and various organizations across the country. Her eclectic style includes everything from down-home gospel and blues to new age, classical and light jazz.
Much of her time is spent teaching, composing, and recording as well. Two of her original choral musicals have been met with critical acclaim. Former recording projects include an album of gospel music called "We Praise Him", and a CD entitled "Westbound", which is a unique combination ranging from simple piano melodies to lush orchestrations.
Sherry K's latest release is "A Whole New Woman." Comprised of original piano/instrumental music, this bold and gutsy portrayal represents one woman's personal and profound journey. Filled with stylistic twists and turns, "A Whole New Woman" takes you on a musical roller coaster ride, a breathtaking panoramic view into the heart and hands of Ms. Sherry K.

Energetic, lots of variety, emotionally rich

"Grease" on loud used to be my housecleaning music. No more! This CD is the first replacement--ever. I start with track 3--"Shadowland". Gets me up and going, as does "Sisters of the Faith". I also play it on my computer at work when I'm ready for a break--"Home" and "The Steps of Ebenezer Lutheran" make for mellow moments. "Decisions"--emotionally rich, as is "Courage" and "A Whole New Woman". But the most fun of all is "Female Problems". Oh my gosh. I'm waiting for the next one--I'm telling you, that woman can play! And I grew up listening to Jerry Lee Lewis.

Wow, I can see visual images while listening to your music. It has a lot of variety, the scoring is excellent, and the overall results are worthy of a film score, or at least be playing on the radio and have a major record label pick you up. GReat job.
