Album Notes

Sherwood Renaissance Singers was formed as a quartet in 1996 in order to sing at the Shrewsbury Renaissance Faire then held in Philomath. Since then we have grown to a group of 17 singers, and we perform at renaissance faires and other venues throughout Oregon and Washington during the summer months.

We sing three, four, and five part renaissance madrigals, chansons, and rounds, in English, French, German, and Italian. Our repetoire contains love songs, songs of merriment, and songs of poignancy and sorrow.
