A John Lennon lyric has certain qualities-often simple, personal, profound, and sometimes nonsensical. A James Taylor lyric gets right to the point expressing direct thoughts and emotions. A Cat Stevens lyric can be quite unique and spiritual. A Joni Mitchell lyric weaves vivid images and creates strong sensual feelings.

About the Music and the guitar...
If you looked at John Lennon guitar tab, a James Taylor guitar tab, a Cat Steven guitar tab, or a Joni Mitchell guitar tab, you would see certain chord patterns, chord structures, open tunings and rhythms. Shimmer takes in these inspirations and breaths out with the Epiphone acoustic guitar.

A little more about the artist...
Danny plays all instruments and does all vocals on this acoustic-rock CD "Shimmer". Of the ten songs, six are original compositions. Two are George Harrison remakes. Two are collaborations with lyricist Helema Smith. One of these collaborations, “Emotion Confused”, was selected by MTV for an episode of their program “Made.”
Danny performed the opening song on Shimmer, “Cool Nerd”, on the NBC Channel 4 Today In L.A. Weekend program.
Danny has performed at the Roxy, Whisky a Go-Go, Troubador and many other top L.A. clubs.
