Shinji Yamashita was born in Hiroshima, Japan in 1981. After living in England for 7 years he moved back to Tokyo. Not only is he a talented musician he is also a skilled and unique illustrator.

Shinji's music is a unique and mystical beast which Shnji in his own words says "wants to express the enigmatic Japanese world that occurs in his own head". Shinji also wants to take his listeners on "spiritual journey of the mind when they listen to my music".

Shinji Yamashita's continues his sonic journey into the realms of electronica, IDM, Glitch and traditional Japanese music with his new 3 track EP. Blending beautiful melodies with abstract beats and experimentalism, Niraikani is one for the listener who is looking something unique and challenging. Deeply emotional and futuristic Niraikani promises a new world of sonic possibilities.
