Album Notes

Born Monzeil Jhamal Flemming, in Trenton, NJ, Shin-Q grew up in a single parent home with 2 siblings. Exposed to music at an early age, he wrote his first song at the age of 8.Being raised in Hip-Hop\'s Golden Era helped Shin-Q develop his grassroots respect for the art form! His family\'s nomadic lifestyle, directly effected his way thinking and in many ways his style of MCing! He basically is all over the place. But in a sense controlled chaos. After moving to the DC area for educational and athletic persuits, Shin-Q found himself being drawn closer to his first love: HIP-HOP! After long years of \"paying dues\", Shin-Q is now poised to break the silence! Coming soon will be Shin-Q\'s first solo effort: ACQUIRED DISCIPLINE. An album as nomadic as he is, will show Shin-Q\'s calling cards: versatility and range! Shin-Q is actually short for Shining Question which he says means he may always be seen but will he be understood! Will He?
