Prompted by a reunion concert in 2008 and a live radio broadcast in 2009, The Ship has regrouped for its first truly new recording in 35 years. All Come Home features the wide variety of singers, writers, styles, and instrumentation that has been a hallmark of The Ship's music since the group formed in 1971. But unlike previous Ship albums, the songs on All Come Home were produced in a "virtual" studio. Band members recorded and uploaded tracks from their respective homes across the country. Those tracks were mixed and mastered by Jim Barton at his studio in Philadelphia. What began as an intriguing possibility - recording "together" again as The Ship - becomes a rewarding reality with this release. Welcome Home!
