Album Notes

We are the Shirettes and we sing lots of songs"....

This is how the Shirettes start all of their performances.

The Shirettes are the premier music educators in early childhood centers primarily within the Jewish community in the greater Los Angeles area, the San Fernando and Conejo Valleys. Each of them respectively has been teaching for twenty plus years. Five years ago, they combined their talents to form one of the latest musical sensations for young Jewish children. In addition to music education, they are singer/songwriters, musicians and recording artists who perform at schools, day care centers, nursery and elementary schools, synagogues, libraries, museums, community centers, festivals, and conferences for early childhood educators. The Shirettes are known to keep their crowd giggling and wiggling as everyone sings along and participates in a hand-clapping and toe-tapping time!

Their newly released "Cha Cha Chanukah With The Shirettes" won a 2005 Parents Choice Recommended Award.
