Album Notes
Crooked And Crazy is the sophomore releases for the Shivering Denizens. This album is much like the first one but with a lot more players on it. Brian "Buck" Elllard from the Bob Wayne and The Outlaw Carnies plays fiddle on about 8 tracks. Check it out!

Van Ramsey, KSER, Everett, WA,

How much ass does THIS kick?
Once again, The Shivering Denizens have put together a brilliant album of great country music. Ron Banner's lyrics hit all their targets. The biting humor of Dry Drunk Blues, and the sad realities of Two Ton Hammer and Honky Tonk Madness could only have come from someone who's been to those places, and seen first-hand the failures of fallen comrades. The Cougar Song and I H8 Country Music are both a lot of fun, and The Patriot is a surprise, more of a "serious" work of Americana songwriting. Don't let the occasional profanity spook you, either; that's part of what keeps it real.
These guys all KNOW HOW TO PLAY, and deliver the goods with a blend of bluegrass, hillbilly, 50s-style country, and swing, and consistently fill the dance floor at their live shows. You won't find a weak track on this album, and no matter the tempo or rhythm, The Shivering Denizens always sound like The Shivering Denizens.
