Simply put,the best American female fronted-vocal powerpop band ever. A guaranteed treat for fans of 60's Spector/Brill-Building girl-groups-with a Raspberries/Badfinger/Pretenders sound:loud, hard and catchy.12 studio tracks, plus 8 great live songs from a 1982 radio broadcast. THE SHIVVERS
author: Robert Butt
Awesome power pop from Milwaukee in the late 70s and early 80s. Actually saw the band at a local bar at least once. Didn't know they had so much original worthy tunes. A real gem to have been released if you like girl vocals over great listenable pop rock that also sounds 60s style updated for the times. Good stuff. Bob.
