Shoshana Smith doesn't like boxes and titles but know they are sometimes necessary so she has decided to call her music JAZZFUNKSOULOETRY, which is a mixture of Jazz, Funk, R&B and Poetry. Smith has performed all over the New England and New York City area gracing audiences with her poetic wisdom, intoxicating wordplay and soulful singing style.

Many have said listening to this "Sassy Lady is like reading a good book through song and music. Not only is the music funky and the vibe groovy, each song takes you on a journey from start to finish. Others have said this Sassy Ladies performance is more exciting live because in her words "using a live band gives me the freedom to bring new flavor to every song, singing to tracks are just to stifling and people don't come to the show for the artist to play the CD they come to see a performance".
