Finally a band that knows how to ROCK!

Finally a band that knows how to ROCK! No nonsense or needing to please the masses who listen to the tasteless music that Z100 likes to play, all those songs that sounds the same as the one before it. Shot knows how to rock, and they kick ass doing it. Aside from the awe-inspiring vocals from Shot’s singer, each member of Shot holds their own while capturing your full attention. Billy Sioux’s, the vocalist, stage presence reminds me of both Steven Tyler and Vince Neil, while having his own style of singing. Hector Marin, the lead guitarist, is the Randy Rhodes of our time. Hector's playing really shines through on one of my favorite songs, "Don't Come Round Here." Besto Best, the rhythm guitarist, has a style of playing that reminds me of Scott Ian (Anthrax). Roach the drummer is the next Lars Ulrich. He also reminds me of Tommy Lee from Motley Crue. Don't believe me? Then I suggest that you listen to "Axegrinder". As for the song "In the Streets", I feel that it's the bassist, Yusuke, who brings it. In my personal opinion, he reminds me of Cliff Burton (Metallica). Shot is filled with talented musicians, as you can and will hear. I've seen them live and seen them bring down the house. Trust me: This is one CD you want to add to your list. I love this CD.

Definitely worth checking this band out. I've seen these guys perform live in NYC several times. They always put on a good show...and even more importantly, they know how to write and play good music. Glad they finally have a CD out!
