I had the pleasure of seeing Shotgun Party perform at the 2009 Sugar Maple Festival in Madison, WI. this past August, and I was blown away by Jenny Parrott's voice and the high musicianship of the band.  Bought this CD the next week.  Listen to it once a day.  In my opinion, this is a band to watch.  I especially like the songs 'BNSF' and 'Holy Needles'.   I just ordered their second CD today, and I hope it's just as good as this one.  Best of luck to them!

I saw these guys a few weeks ago in Houston, and I still can't believe only three people create all that beautiful sound.  It's like taking a time machine back into the 1930s with some very, very  young people!
