ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
From Blues to Rock to Soul to Ballad and beyond, SHOWDOWN 2012 offers variety not often achieved in a single CD release.

The members of this veteran Michigan group with decades in the music industry have individually contributed countless hours in the studio to the work of other artists ranging from small independent labels to national recording artists.

For this project, the first SHOWDOWN release in 28 years, they combined their own songwriting skills with proven successful songwriters who have written hits for artists such as Don Henley, Styx, Patti Smyth, Marshall Crenshaw and Randy Travis

Showdown is: Guitarist and vocalist Joe Vermetti, Bassist and vocalist Hank Horton, Drummer Steve Ewers, Keyboardist and vocalist Charlie McGeehan.
