Album Notes

After 5 years of gigging we went into the studio and worked out some fresh material of our own as we are masters at cover tunes and have to play them to survive 4 hour gigs!
These songs come from real life expierences and are not factory line stuff you get from the major labels! we make music that we would like to hear and we believe the Rock is here to stay and will survive while others will fade out and not be heard again.

We are a group from the south bay area in northern California with an east coast flavor with half the band from New York and the other half from California.

We have 3 people writng songs and we all have a different approach One into Steely Dan,and the east coast sound, one from the San Francisco sound including classic rock (deep purple, black sabbath)one into hair bands (cinderella) and we all like progressive stuff like Dream Theatre and symphony X so we have a lot of different things that influence our music. So if you like guitar driven rockers and cool ballads this is the CD for You!

Interesting sound. I like the title track, Unchosen, and Sign on the Line. I can hear several influences in the music. Good rythm section. Nice drumming on the title track, awesome guitar solo on Unchosen, cool lyrics on Sign on the line. A bit of a Beatles feel on Suit of Soul. Is this the Shrunken Heads from Michigan? I thought that band had horns, but I didn't hear any horns in the music. Good guiter tone throughout the album. The production could have been better, but I understand that indi albums are usually low budget albums...hence the sound quality. Interested to hear a follow-up to this album.
