Album Notes

Sh! The Octopus began as a solo project of singer-songwriter Randy Bishop in July of 2003. Guitarist Andy Stachowiak joined in late 2005. Drummer Joel Pearson and bassist Chris Sesta joined in the spring/summer of 2006. Vocalist/Pianist Christine Baxter joined in the winter/spring 2007. They've been compared to Stephen Malkmus, The Sea and Cake, and even Jets to Brazil. There hasn't been a review yet that doesn't mention the word "Folky" (not an actual word) when describing their sound.
