Shufly has suddenly and unexpectedly emerged as a lyrical rock fantasy with undeniable mainstream appeal in their Latin dominated hometown of Miami.

The band formed when guitarist Michael Sharpe met singer Scott Smith at the Cocoa Beach pier in January of 1999.

The rest is history...the two pawned their things for gas and headed to Miami where they met bassist Matt Coogan, guitarist Mandy Rua and most recently, Paul Volteller.

Often compared to the likes of Matchbox 20, Blues Traveler, Dave Matthews, Sister Hazel or even Collective Soul, I think you'll find that Shufly serves up a vibrant flavor all their own.

Shufly is... Scott Smith, Lead Vocals Mike Sharpe, Rhythm Guitar Matt Coogan, Bass Mandy Rua, Lead Guitar Paul Volteller, Drummer Each Shufly song is an inspired collaborative undertaking by Smith and Sharpe.

Smith is responsible for Shufly's poignant and sometimes dark, lyrical poetry as well as the striking vocal melodies, while Sharpe translates his brilliance into music that invades the soul, leaving his catchy hooks caged in your subconscious after just one or two spins.
