Shukram Das has travelled to India regularly since 1999. At the ashram of Neem Karoli Baba in Vrindaban he learned the mantras and prayers recorded on this CD. Accompanied by just a classic dotara, Shukram captures the magic and beauty of these old songs, bringing a warm and trance-like sound into your house or car. Listening or singing along can put you in a deep meditative state. Shukram Das, or Patrick Vermeulen, is also co-founder of Svaha Yoga in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
