Musician/Producer Mark Peacock has embarked on another musical endeavor, “SIA” the new release from Aurora Blue Records and “Spirits in Ambience” is a brand new direction in genre for this self titled album.

“SIA” incorporates Industrial, Dance and Gothic themes to this four song EP.

The rich ambient synths, guitars and grooves are still a hallmark of the compositions that have come from Mark Peacock in the past “Spirits in Ambience” albums.

Musicians playing alongside Mark for “SIA” are the exotic and sultry voice of Samantha Berger, voice over by Andrea Ricci, violinist extraordinaire Eric Gorfain, programming genius by Scott Bruznak, and the driving rhythms of guitar ace Michael Tovar.

The first track “Submission” with its marching dance groove incorporates an easily recognizable sadistic voice from the past exhorting the listener to obey and submit.

The second track “Danza Del Diavolo” has a non-stop driving guitar rhythm and pounding beat, infused with dark voices coming from the pit below, conjuring up a vision of the devil himself dancing feverishly to the domain of his making.

Third in this lineup of songs is the track “La Nuit Noir” A haunting voice recalls the darkness of her heart after a broken love affair, the rich layered synths and a rolling dance groove drives this track to the refrain of a sorrowful voice and the rich textures of violin.

And finally the forth track on this EP is the “Call of Theophilus” where the voice of the infamous alchemist calls forth the evil forces to assist him in the black magic he routinely performs. Voices of monks and a pounding beat from the dungeon of Theophilus give the listener a feeling of brooding darkness from this black magician considered the Faust of the Middle Ages.
