ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Founded by Matthew Smith in 2007, Sicadia (Formerly The Endless Nameless) began with humble beginnings. After the departure of the original drummer, Annabeth Connaughy picked up the sticks and started with the band in 2009. Their dirty alt-rock sound was rounded out with the addition of bassist Drew Wheeler in 2010. From inside their practice space, dubbed "The Milkhouse", they've gone from cover songs to the cover page. They were a featured act in Canton's Battle of the Bands, held at the Palace Theatre. Also, Sicadia has plugged in to play at Peabodys, JB's, HiFi (Breakfast Club), Symposium, Robin Hood, Clearwater, and others. They are set to release their debut album in December 2010; with a Midwest tour to follow in spring 2011.They combine all the right sounds to make the perfect balance of dancing your ass off, headbanging, and singing along as loud as you can. With a signature sound and solid drive, Sicadia is the sound of the new underground.
