What do you get when you cross a retired child actor, a laid off machinist, a burnt out audio engineer and a bicycle mechanic? You get the four cornerstones of the alt rock quartet Sick Water. Kaylan, Nate, Justin and Andrew have been secretly planning to take over the world from within the confines of a North Hollywood, CA garage for over 3 years now. And now, armed with their full-length debut album "Aqua Vista", which was recorded in the very same garage, and a loyal So Cal following, SW has set their diabolical plan in motion.
The band has set themselves apart from run of the mill rock with a unique two vocalist approach, and by taking elements of classic rock, punk, indie, pop and hard rock to create their own guitar sound that has been described as mod grunge. Since it's inception, the tenacious four piece has been gigging all over the Southern California area with ferocious performances at the Hard Rock Café, Whisky A Go Go, The Dragonfly, 14 Below, The Martini Lounge, The Cobalt Café, King King, Mr. T's Bowl, The Coconut Teaszer, and many more, as well as a triumphant showcase in Austin, TX at South By Southwest (SXSW) 2003 and several shows in the greater Phoenix area. Stephanie Andolini of Music Connection Magazine wrote, "The unique appeal of this band really comes from the unusually upbeat sound. The audience loves the upbeat aspect of their show," and "this young band could become a force to be reckoned with."
SW's raucous live show combined with a self-recorded, full-length debut album of infectious, raw and powerfully fun rock songs has Sick Water poised to make serious waves on the entire music scene.

This album is so good that I BOUGHT IT! OHHHHH
author: Samurai
This Cd is Very good. It sounds professionally produced and the songs on it make me happy. My girl really liked it to. I usually only listen to electronica, so for me to listen to some form of rock, the songs must not only be original and fantastic, but super original and KILLER FANTASTIC. Aquavista is all that and + kaylan is great. I wish we were both gay... oh well, girls just rock too hard.

The Future of Rock and Roll
author: Bruce Lomet (CHINASKI)
In short, Sick Water ROCKS and ROCKS HARD. They also have a head on their shoulders - with smart lyrical phrasing and a no-frills musicality that wears well over many listens. If this is the future of rock and roll - we'll all be better off.
