Album Notes

Live Trilogy is a document of Live performances between 1998 and 2004. These performances are 100% improvisational.

"Arpeggio" is from our first public performance. It is recorded at concert organised by "Charm Of Sound" (non-profit association promoting electronic and experimental music and sound art in Finland). As the name says there is this note-arpeggio which sends same note-information to two different synthesizers. We are changing the sounds of these synthesizers and trying to get different moods from this simple repetitive note-sequence.

"Conference Of Mammoths" and "Ambient Laboratory" are composed Live at "Koetila" (small space we hired for weekend-long ambient-happening) in Helsinki. Live visuals by Ville Ojajärvi and Mari Keski-Korsu.

"Part 1" is also composed Live at "Happihuone" in Töölönlahti Art Garden. This belongs to our "Under the Stars" concerts when we have played outside in the forests.

"Evolution" and "Dryocopus Martius" are also recorded at "Koetila". We invited Kimmo Kajasto (from Koneveljet trio) to play with us and he brought his Laptop full of interesting sounds.

"Vaahto" was recorded at Waahto-club in Helsinki "Greasy listening and a beer" Beer Cafe at Vanha. Veijo Midi invited us to play as guests of evening.
