Album Notes

The original musical style of The Sign is drawn from rock, blues, pop and folk styles from Led Zeppelin, Eric Clapton, The Beatles, Roger Glover, to The Pretenders, Chrissie Amphlett & The Divinyls, XTC Joan Baez etc, etc.

This EP project contains a few original songs recorded in Tasmania at Pall's studio High Voltage Productions and Red Planet Studio in Hobart with drummer Stuart Long and bassist Paul McShane. Also included is a tribute to Led Zepplin with Whole Lotta Love.

The Sign consists of Joey Dee, a true Tasmanian artist/singer/songwriter/actor and Pall, American guitarist/vocalist/engineer/producer. Over many character building years this female/male combination have evolved to their present form. Constantly transcending, The Sign uses 12 string and 6 string acoustic guitars to present a fresh original sound.

The Sign have won awards from the Australian Songwriters Association, Billboard Songwriting Contest and National Songwriters Contest as well as a place on Australia's "X-Factor" TV show.

Great Vocals, excellent harmonies and compelling lyrics make The Sign a must see and hear.
