Founded in 2001 in Montreal Canada to create progressive music and staying honest to the creative craft releasing and constructing everyday and every night with an incredible strong following in Montreal and abroad. With a drive to with stand and achieve the unknown. The SIGN OF ONE machine will never stop evolving. Unceasingly discovering new avenues and passionate people to work with. With the idolatry, to their music, together with excessive devotion to fans and creativity, S-1 is ready for the masses ...

During our one year stay in Los Angeles, California. S-1 has built a huge following playing shows in world famous venues such as the THE VIPER ROOM, THE KNITTING FACTORY, THE DRAGONFLY, C.I.A. and many more. --- the search for one common energy...life and its long lasting memories, the leisures and pleasures of infinity and all that is sacred. Beware of the seperation, and unify. SIGN OF ONE. We are settled back home in Montreal, Canada and its freakin cold as most of you know. We've played 2 shows since we've been back from Los Angeles and they were just amazing. So we are currently working on brand new material and are going to be recording very soon. We will let everyone know when we enter the lab again., so stay tuned to our space and website www.signofone.com for updates and new ventures for the S1 camp. We are jammin out 13 new songs at the moment and some of the names are "Brigade" & "Welcome to the metaphor..." which some of you beautiful people know already...and one of our favorites "Xalifornia Xuicide"... There is something about Montreal that makes us feel like we are in a comfortable writing element. We love living here, writing, playing shows, and can't forget all the unforgetable endless nights with friends and fans here in Montreal. We are taking all of our experiences collectively and transforming them into sonance. We thank you for what you give back to us... As for California!! haha where do we start you guys are just FUCKIN NUTS, we loved it! When we arrived in oct 2005 we didnt know a soul, but when we left in sept 2006...we had a family. The insanity out there made us stronger & wiser and will show in our new music...we promise. We think we built the strongest, if not one of the strongest street teams in California, which we like to call "S1 Army". Just take a walk down Sunset Blvd on any given night and you will see what we mean! If i sit here and start naming everyone, i will be here for days on end..so you know who you all are..especially that incredible one with the SIGN OF ONE tat on her back! THANX A ZILLION! NOW, the upcoming months have many nights in studio wirting the best shit that ever came out of S1...so that being said hope to see you all at our upcoming shows and hit us up...
