Album Notes

This is the musical soundscape of Miami Singer/Songwriter/Producer Christopher Phipps and his solo project sILENTsTORM.
From the late 80's into the early 90's London Exchange and there techno side project Deus- Ex-Machina enjoyed much commercial success with a string of dance club and radio hits that reached a worldwide audience.
This latest musical venture was written and recorded as a first ever release out of Christopher's home studio in South Florida and was inspired by other electronic artists, such as VNV Nation,Underworld & D.J George Acosta.
From the playful South Beach club anthem "Tonight" to the post 9/11 thought provoking sign of the times "Do You Feel" Pt.1 & Pt.2 this album draws you in at the beginning and doesn't let you go until the final feedback of guitars fades off into the sunset on the beautifully haunting closing track "California".

Eye Opener!

The album has a touch of everything Electronica. Your average listener may say "it's just another techno cd" but to a Clubber, DJ and true Electronica Purest it's a complete album. You can not just listen to just one song and stop, you must listen to the whole cd. The music picks you up and puts you down and throws you across the room. And it's fitting that the cd ends with "Words Get In The Way" and "California". One word comes to mind "AWESOME"! It shows the diversity of Chris abilities as an artist. It's a must have cd. I would like to see some remixes made with "Tonight" and "I Feel Loved". Big thumbs up Chris!

1st lemme say that I have been a hardcore music fan for 25years. the last 10, my focus has what gets played in clubs. having said that, listening to this album it brought back memories of some of the greats PinkFloyd, DuranDuran, and multi-platinum recording artist FORD. Christopher Phipps has made an album that contains songs you will want to play at your favorite disco, in your car, at home and even get romantic with your love..it has it all, songs that make your hair stand up from feelings of unity with the world to ones that make you wanna put on your boogie shoes and go dancing. sILENTsTORM takes you on a trip and when its all done sets you down gently leaving you with a feeling of satisfaction. the instruments are perfectly complimented by some really wicked synths. this album is truely a glimpse into the future of music. *high5* Mr. Phipps.
