Bursting with Talent

I checked out silent violet on a recommendation from a friend. I was so enamored by their music that I immediately bought their album and I almost never buy albums! I don't typically enjoy female vocalists either, but Mariam McCarthy's voice is so beautiful and her words are so wonderful that I couldn't help but be amazed. Her lyrics fit together so neatly while never succumbing to cliches. Neadless to say, I am very impressed by this group. The stand out tracks on this album are: Sounds of a Dirty City, Height is a beautiful thing, Ecclesiastes Revolving, Double, and Are You With Me? This is one of the most talented new groups I've heard in years!

The keys and beats are gracefully blended with layers of gorgeous vocals. The inspired production techniques leave an indelible mark. This is pure bliss, this is Silent Violet.
