SILLY BUS INTRODUCES A NEW KID’S EDUCATIONAL MUSIC CD

Richmond, Va. –April 15, 2006

Silly Bus is en route to make a stop near you! The educational media creation group based in Richmond VA is taking children's education to the next level with the release of their new full length CD. The much anticipated recording is hot off the press and will be available to the public on April 15, 2006.

By combining the essential concepts of the standards of learning with catchy and fun melodies, the Silly Bus creative team has developed a unique way to integrate educational information into music. In the near future, they will embark on a project to incorporate their educational music into a video to be released in the summer of 2006.

Children and parents are giving the CD rave reviews, and its educational content is garnering the attention of teachers, administrators, and education professionals. Dr. John Lewis II, Ed.D. writes,

“Educators and Instructional Designers have long known the predictive influence that interest and motivation have on learning outcomes. And music can create interest in a subject if it connects with the musical tastes of today's children. The creative team members are experienced professionals from the music and film industries, and they have worked with some of the biggest names in their respective fields. The live performance group has shared the stage with well known acts including Huey Lewis and the News, Switchfoot, Cyndi Lauper, Sugar Ray, and Vanessa Carlton. Their songs appeared on MTV, Discovery Kids, and a compilation CD that included Dave Matthews. The visual production staff worked on films released by Dream Works, Disney, Castle Rock, Universal, and Warner Bros. The cumulative experience and vision that the team brings to Silly Bus is sure to win viewers and listeners alike.

Red Cactus Films recently licensed the Silly Bus song, “Eagle on the Wind,” to be used in the new film release “Middle of the Road.”

Through their innovative educational media, Silly Bus aims to reach 100,000 kids in 2006.
