Album Notes

The Silver Belles are Marianne Grittani, Jennifer Scott and Lynnette Salton.
Coming from different parts of the music world, the group formed in 1989.

The Silver Belles are a vibrant contemporary vocal trio who primarily perform a capella throughout the Christmas season to appreciative audiences throughout the Vancouver Area. They have been featured on CBC, Local news and at many distinguished events including Bright Nights in Stanley Park & DVBIA Luncheon singing for media, VANOC and local celebrities.

Marianne is a renowned singer/songwriter - her CD "Into the Glimmering" received terrific reviews and she is a mainstay at many folk fests and singer/songwriter showcases. (www.mariannegrittani.com)

Jennifer is a celebrated Jazz singer/pianist and has recorded six CDs - all available on CD Baby. Silver Belles features her arrangements.
She has performed worldwide at many festivals and concerts and will tour the States in January and Europe March & April. (www.jenniferscott.com)

Lynnette Salton, in addition to being a superb electrician, builder, etc...! is a well established Music Theatre Star, having been featured in shows Nunsense & The Sound of Music in leading roles. She was also a featured performer in "Top of the Pops" - a Christmas special.

The music is vibrant, full of fun and energy - at times meditative and retrospective. From the world beat of Mary's Boy Child to the lilting and lyrical Coventry Carol to Marianne's original homage to her family, Tis the Season, there is something for everyone here!
