Album Notes

Wrap Around My Heart is Silver Darling's first recording. It was recorded by the band in the foothills of California at Jesse's father's studio. It features sparse, sonically rich, folk arrangements of original material. The songs center around the truth that is lost in this life. Kevin got his childhood friend, and professional graphic artist, Ian Ingalls to design the hand-drawn cover. They took it to Asbestos Press of Sacramento to hand screen the art. One Saturday, in an old Sacramento Victorian house, a dozen people sat down to fold paper and wrap red twine around 500 copies of a record entirely made with the bare hands of friends.
