Nice document Terry. I have to laugh at those who don't realize you are a half of New Jersey's finest jazz son's produced by Art Silverlight, right smack tab in the middle of Jersey in Plainfield. I've been a fan since the mid seventies when you and your recluse of a brother used to trade off in parts at Richard 's Jazz Lounge and literally blow everyone away. You and your brother are like folk lure to those who grew up on early jazz fusion. Terry plays everything, and is in constant .Check out early on Changes, then read the credits. demand. being on the Luther Vandross

Sparky J's is my new theme song. Terry has done a great job with this CD - it has all of the fusion/jazz feels of our youth, yet the tunes are all new and tasty. Recorded very well, great players, what else can you ask for???

Great writing, great playing...period

A lot of CDs by musicians, especially drummers, can best best be described as "great playing, lousy writing." Terry's composition skills are at least as developed as his drumming, which is awesome. These tunes stand on their own as works of art, irrespective of the players. Thats not to say that the playing isn't superb, but great musicians a re dime a dozen these days and so often "musician's music" is just an excuse to show off. If you want a CD that has great playing, then this won't disappoint...but you'll come away digging the songs. This CD won't leave you cold after the 2nd listening, because of the depth of the writing! BUY IT!!
