ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Silver Machine has just released “Symmetry”, a Space Rock odyssey in 8 parts. With a heavy dose of theremin, filtered vocals, echoing guitars, and groove oriented bass and drums, Silver Machine brings a fresh new sound to the genre. Visit www.silver-machine.net for more info.

Formed in 2008, Silver Machine spent the first three years performing around the southeast at festivals and clubs, developing their unique sound, and releasing their first studio album. Their self-titled debut was released in 2010, and their first live album was recorded at the Autumnal Equinox of that year – during an epic four hour set!

In June 2011, Silver Machine decided to launch into outer space on their own bachelor-pad space craft, equipped with a state-of-the-art recording studio. After performing a triumphant “farewell” set at The Orange Peel in their hometown of Asheville NC, they blasted off into the ether to produce their follow-up album. The band has been recording the soundtracks to their journeys ever since, and has finally transmitted “Symmetry” back to Earth. Stay tuned for more transmissions this year: the live album "Silver Machine Live Equinox Volumes 1, 2, and 3" will be released this summer, and a movie soundtrack is coming this fall.
