Silver, Wood & Ivory (SWI) listeners experience the soulful flute and piano collections that gifted musicians and close friends Tracy Dietrich and Cindy Keller Wittenberg perform. Moments after the first note, this musical duo transports listeners to a magical place far from the rigors of daily life.

Silver, Wood & Ivory’s sparkling combination of the Silver and Wood flutes and recorders, and the Ivory of the keyboard, is pure listening pleasure. Each arrangement and original composition is custom and tastefully handcrafted by Cindy and Tracy to highlight the beauty, perfect blends, and individual character of each of these lovely instruments. Together, these dynamic performers expertly maximize this beauty and the contrasting elements of their silver, wood and ivory instruments to surround listeners with melodies that will “soothe your soul and calm your spirit.” Cindy also performs a variety of piano solos with elegance and expression.

Tracy’s magnificent collection of woodwind instruments includes standard silver and wooden flutes, alto flute, bass flute, piccolo, soprano recorder, alto recorder, tenor recorder, pan flute, pennywhistles, ocarinas (cicada bug and ceramic donut), three Native American flutes, and the incredible 6 ½ foot high contrabass flute! Cindy's new Celtic Harp adds another color of sound to these beautiful winds and piano.

Cindy and Tracy live in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Both are professional musicians with performance degrees. Cindy earned her degrees from Elizabethtown College, PA and Peabody Conservatory, MD. Tracy holds her degree from Indiana University, PA. Ever since meeting at their church in 1999, they have been performing, traveling, and recording together as Silver, Wood, & Ivory!
