Album Notes

Hailing from the classic mold that spawned the likes of Neil Finn, Aimee Mann and Michael Penn, Lee’s latest release, Sometimes Fools, reveals songs embued with both a stark reality and warm charisma. Sometimes Fools was recorded over three days in a tiny studio in El Paso, Texas, with Lee producing and playing all the instruments.

Garnering invitations to perform at New York's The Living Room and the prestigious Cutting Edge of the Campfire Festival in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Lee has opened shows for Alexi Murdoch, William Topley, Catie Curtis, Melissa Ferrick and a host of local musical luminaries. His 2000 EP Antebellum was welcomed by critics worldwide as a significant addition to the indie-rock canon. In 2001, Lee was named a winner in the Unisong International Song Contest.
